I began my teaching career in 2005.  I graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood.  I began my career teaching Fifth grade at a Title 1 school in Killeen, Texas. I moved to my hometown of Columbia, Missouri where I taught Third grade at a public school.  Needing some year-round sunshine, I moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida in 2007.  I taught second grade at a private school for four years.  While there, I coached intramural Sports including basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, dance and cheerleading.  I also choreographed dance routines for the school’s musical performances.  I taught Reading at The Academic Link to Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I joined the GSOTA family in 2014 and am excited to be teaching second grade once again!

 

My husband and I became first time parents in April 2013 with our daughter Laila.  We added to our family with our son Logan in August 2015.  We also have two dogs, Thor and Zeus, and two cats named Natasha and Banner.
