Ms. Jennifer Ciampi
Second Grade Teacher

Ms. Ciampi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and a minor in Spanish, from the Gordon F. Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. In 2002, Ms. Ciampi was accepted into the Derner Institute's graduate program in Mental Health Counseling, where she studied Child Development and the Psychology of the Exceptional Child. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for teaching. Before moving to Palm Beach Gardens in 2013, Ms. Ciampi taught in Early Childhood and Primary Education in New York for 12 years. In addition to being a school teacher, Ms. Ciampi has been a dance instructor in New York since 1998 and specializes in Tap Dance and Musical Theatre Choreography. During her summers, Ms. Ciampi teaches math for the Summer Youth College at Palm Beach State College, in Palm Beach Gardens. This is Ms. Ciampi's 7th school year teaching at GSOTA! She believes her classroom should be a place of acceptance, expression and creative freedom. Ms. Ciampi is also the yearbook editor and the parent liaison on the GSOTA board.
