Reading Unit Instructional Focus:

• Students will be assigned one chapter book series based on his/her level.

• Students will be matched with a mentor partner in the same class. (one lower reader and one higher reader.)

• Buddies will plan a schedule for reading and stick to the schedule. Pairs will meet twice per week to discuss the reading and complete activities based on their series.
